Hello

I just want to say to all of you who have signed the petition for Duke, THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart thank you. So far almost 7500 of you (probably more by the time you read this) have signed the petition to put pressure on Qantas to change their current animal care standards and procedures. 

Obviously nothing will bring Duke back, even saying that immediately brings tears to my eyes. I am truly heartbroken and feel lost without Duke. I just hope that we can prevent this tragedy from happening again.

Unfortunately another dog, a beautiful bulldog puppy flying on Qantas from Sydney to Melbourne two days after Duke's death, was also dead by the time he arrived. This flight and the one Duke was on were relatively short flights, it's not the flight that killed them, it's the time they spent in the heat, on the tarmac waiting to board. This needs to change!
