That means 400 people have stood together to say that Amazon KDP’s identity confirmation process is inaccessible, unclear, and capable of locking legitimate authors out of their accounts and their own work.

Thank you to every person who signed and shared this petition. Reaching 400 signatures is a meaningful achievement, but signatures alone will not force Amazon to respond. If we want Amazon to take this seriously, we need to turn those signatures into visible, coordinated pressure.

Here is how you can help:

●Contact Amazon KDP Support and respectfully ask them to review this petition and address the accessibility problems within identity confirmation.

●Share your own experience in the petition comments, especially if your identification was rejected, your account was restricted, or you were unable to complete the process because of a disability.

●Send the petition to authors, publishers, disability advocates, journalists, and organizations that protect digital and consumer rights.

●Share it again on social media and explain why this issue matters to you.

●Ask at least one other person to sign and take action with us.

Please keep every message respectful and focused. We are not asking anyone to harass Amazon employees. We are asking hundreds of people to deliver the same clear message: authors deserve an accessible process, meaningful explanations when verification fails, protection of their personal information, and access to real human assistance.

One person can be ignored. Four hundred people taking action together are much harder to dismiss.
