Dear Petition Supporters,

The Christmas season is ramping up and so are kids’ activities at our local “family-friendly” shopping centres. While these centres lure parents by providing activities for kids they’ve failed on a very basic principle - it’s wrong to show kids porn-themed imagery. However, that is exactly what they’re allowing.

Take for example the kids’ Santa parade held at a Lendlease-owned centre on Saturday (pictures attached). The procession included tween girls who were made to dance past Honey Birdette's BDSM porn-themed shopfront. Santa was seen handing out high-fives to kids right outside the store while sexually-graphic videos and images playing on the screens in the background.

My community deserve better than the Santa-in-front-of-sex-shop attraction that Lendlease, Westfield and other companies are offering. Contact the CEO of your local centre and tell them yours deserves better too.
