Dear Supporter

Thank you for signing and taking part in all the online actions each day. Our mailbox is flooded with all the correspondence you have sent between you and your local MPs. We can see that the Tories have a standard reply disregarding our concerns but that some  Labour, SNP and LibDem MPs have responded expressing their concern and agreeing to raise concerns and take action.

I am sharing here a a video of a woman whose partner was booked on next week's deportation flight so you can hear first hand about the  devastating impact on them and their son, what the targeting him so far and a deportation would mean and and how it would impact. It is anonymised to protect her and her family's identity.

Thanks go to this woman, for her bravery at a very difficult time for sharing her personal story.

I would also like to thank film maker Natasha Jarvis for producing this.

We have been targeting the airlines over the past couple of days so now I would like to turn our attention to the private security companies that carry out these deportations.

It was the ten year anniversary last month of the death of Jimmy Mubenga at the hands of security guards as he was been deported, on a British Airways flight. I have received countless accounts from people of the way in which they have been treated by such private security guards and at Yarls Wood detention centre a woman who is a rape survivor found herself not only assaulted by security guards but they tried to bring charges against her for defending herself.

So our next action please is to call on the security companies that are contracted by the Home Office to work in immigration enforcement, at detention centres and during deportations.

On twitter they are: @mitie   @G4S and  @sercogroup

Please share the video attached  with them and ask them if they really want to  cause such misery, pain and trauma to this and all the other families impacted, calling on them to stop taking part in this inhumane treatment.

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards

Zita
