Actualización de la peticiónStop all charter flight deportations to Jamaica and other Commonwealth countriesWhy won't the Home Office respond to FOI requests about deportations?

Dear Supporter
I complained to the Home Office about their failure to respond to my second FOI request and they sent me the attached response. Whilst they apologise, this is only prompted by my complaint. They should have written to me within the deadline to apologise for any delay. They haven't even bothered to confirm when they will respond.
The Information Commissioners Office have instructed the Home Office to respond to my first FOI request and I've raised a second complaint.
It's concerning that the Home Office will not or cannot provide information about the number and nature of deportations they have made or are planned.
Following Virgin announcing they will not be working with the Home Office to deport people on their flights from August, I have started a new petition calling on British Airways and other airlines to do the same as I believe we have to do everything we can go stop deportations and that airlines should not be endorsing or being complicit in inhumane treatment;

Please keep sharing both petitions.
Thanks and Best Wishes
