*The City of Stuart and Martin County have committed $45 million to the Brightline station project, with $30 million allocated from Stuart.
*An additional $800,000 will be allocated to promote the station.
*The agreement includes an 80-year lease of the land for the station at a rate of $1 per year.
*$30,000,000 equates to each Stuart resident contributing $1,544 each to help fund the station and parking lot construction.
*Parking fees will range from $8 to $15 per day.
*Brightline requires an additional 1.6 acres and the right to develop for TOD in exchange for $1 on an 80-year lease.
*No study to substantiate any benefits.
