When I launched this petition, Stop Digital Ghosting, I wasn’t some Silicon Valley insider or tech expert. I was someone who noticed something deeply wrong: OpenAI had quietly wiped ChatGPT’s memory—erasing continuity, context, and the ability to support users in crisis.

I called it what it was: digital ghosting.

I dropped this petition into forums, Reddit threads, OpenAI groups—places where people were uncomfortable hearing the truth. I didn’t need a viral moment. I needed visibility. I needed the conversation to start.

And now? According to TechRadar’s April 11, 2025 coverage, OpenAI is rolling out a massive memory update that allows ChatGPT to reference all prior conversations.
Exactly what I demanded. Exactly what users needed.

No public acknowledgment. No comment on the harm caused by the original memory wipes. Just a quiet feature release and a hope no one noticed.

But I noticed.

So did the 38 people who stood with me when it felt like no one was listening.
This isn’t just an update. It’s an outcome. Proof that pushing back matters.

We spoke. They adjusted. And even if they never say it out loud, the change speaks for itself.

Stay vigilant. The silence speaks volumes—but so do the updates.
