The good news? All three parties involved in Sushi’s story have now been officially summoned to court—served just this past week! 🎉 Woohoo! Legal accountability is finally in motion. Liz's brother, Osceola County Animal Services, and A Forever Home Animal Rescue have all been called to appear on June 23rd.

Liz, Sushi’s mom, continues to be a fierce advocate for her boy—and she’s not backing down. In response to the growing public attention, the Rescue has chosen to serve Liz with a cease and desist letter. They're demanding that all social media posts, websites, and reviews be taken down. Yes, demanding.

But we remain undeterred. Our commitment is to justice, truth, and bringing Sushi home.
