As the Leader of the Council said in his automated response to our email responding to the 'information' we received from Council officers, "...have a peaceful and prosperous New Year". He is on holiday. If this diversion goes ahead, next New Year will not be peaceful, nor prosperous particularly for our Upper North Street businesses. Let's give them a bumper year for the next few days until the Council-planned and scheduled diversion-that-we-are-still-hoping-to-abort starts on 9 January.

We have spent hours and hours over the festive period trawling through the public report backs from Brighton & Hove City Council's Environment, Transport & Sustainability Committee.
