Trucks and large vans park on either side of the road, repairing and maintaining the properties, delivering items, and removal vans move households in and out. Upper North Street cyclists and those from other parts of the city use the street. This cyclist is making sure she is not one of those injured or killed by a car, van or truck door being opened into her path. If your family and friends cannot contemplate how 700 buses per day and 850 taxis can possibly pass eastwards down the street without causing traffic injuries or fatalities, would they become a supporter of our petition? We would love to have them on board!
