Thanks to a member of our WhatsApp group who sent us this photo showing the bin lorry overturned on Upper North Street because of adverse camber and lots of traffic. Do send us relevant photos that you may have. Also, if you have time, please add your reasons for supporting our petition.

What a very busy day. We have added Cllr Phelim MacCafferty, Tom Druitt and Alex Phillips as the decision makers. change.org will send them updates to encourage a response.

We have sent a media release to Brighton and Hove News, BBC Radio Sussex, The Argus, Sussex Express.

Our flyer folk have continued to talk to neighbours today and shared the flyer, or put it through the letter box when no-one is home. That work is nearly finished for Montpelier Terrace, Clifton Terrace, and the connecting streets north and south of Upper North Street. Local businesses, schools and churches have either been given or sent the flyer by email.

We have had responses from Caroline Lucas, our MP. She has written to the Head of Transport at Brighton & Hove City Council.

The diversion is due to start in 10 working days. We shall keep you posted on progress.

Once again, thank you for your support. It is hugely appreciated.
