Every year over 100 million animals are mistreated, underfed, kept in captivity, genetically manipulated, subjected to chemicals and toxins and killed due to the ambition of human progress and advancement. It is the definition cruelty and is inhumane to treat another living being under these conditions, especially in a time of sensitive global conditions in terms of many species being forcefully removed and relocated from their natural habitats. Before we know, we will continue to lose species after species, ultimately forcing a change in the way humans live their lives. There are alternatives to cosmetic testing and curiosity driven experiments than using animals against their will.
