A couple of Buddies of Bandeath have been dealing with numerous cases of stray dogs in Forth Valley over the last week alone. After catching a dog running about at a motorway, they took the dog to the local police station to be met with disgusting conditions in the dog kennels. This is ridiculous and not acceptable. Therefore, one of the Buddies of Bandeath committee members has started a petition directly going to Michael Matheson the Justice Minister.
Police Scotland have given no response on the issue of the proposed closure of Bandeath and to hear about the squalid conditions they keep poor animals in, its about time they started talking!
We aren't just going to go away if ignored. We believe in the fundamental wellbeing of animals. We are fighting to save the lives of poor stray dogs, we need to keep Bandeath Stray Dog Shelter open. Animal Welfare is important and Police Scotland should be upholding this!
June 30th is a very important day. Stirling Council public meeting venue and time tbc
We need show them in person the support Bandeath Stray Dog Shelter. If you are available please come along, bring your dog, bring your friends, we need to #savebandeath
