How this petition will be used

First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who signed this petition, your courage and your heartfelt comments! We are almost at 500, which I couldn't have imagined when I started this last Friday. I wanted to let you know what the next steps are, so you don't feel that your words and signatures will disappear into a black hole. We will split this petition by Senatorial district to let your senators know where you stand and present the full list to the chairs of PA's Senate Judiciary Committee (Greenleaf and Leach) to encourage them to move this bill out of committee. I will be doing this in the next couple of days, so if you can think of any person or organization that is interested in being signed on, I would love for you to pass it on.
