Breaking news - Hundreds of mature trees in your Adelaide Park Lands would be saved under a Labor State Govt. Deputy Labor leader Dr Susan Close has promised a National Trust Heritage forum (on Zoom) that Labor would reverse the State Govt rezoning last month of Helen Mayo Park (now turned into an 'Entertainment Zone') and would also legislate to protect significant trees throughout SA with Australian "best practice". Meanwhile Premier Steven Marshall is doubling down on his threats to destroy this Park with a $662m stadium - making the ridiculous claim that a 15-thousand seat stadium would "re-green" the Park.
