Dear Coogan's Family,

It's amazing to think it's already been three years since we successfully petitioned to save Coogan's from becoming yet another casualty of a predatory real estate industry. Sadly, Covid-19 did what NYP couldn't, and Coogan's was forced to shut its doors last year. But the celebration of Coogan's legacy continues with the documentary Coogan's Way by Glenn Osten Anderson, which is premiering VIRTUALLY as part of the Harlem International Film Festival on May 7 @ 12:00 PM.
