Last week, County Executive Steve Bellone, as well as Bill Lindsay, Tom Cilmi, The Sayville Chamber of Commerce, The Nature Conservancy, The Citizen's Campaign, and Save The Great South Bay announced that the County Legislature was to vote on funding the planning of the sewering of Oakdale, Sayville, and West Sayville. Please keep in mind, though, that we have now a new fight -- we need to get this planning funding through the Suffolk County Legislature. They meet on this next tomorrow.
