The Oakdale Yacht Club and owner Tom Crowley has donated $2500 toward the production of a PSA in support of routing the sewer pipe south from Ronkonkoma, through Sayville, West Sayville, Oakdale and under the Connetquot to Bergen Point so that the low lying areas near the bay can be sewered. Taking this cesspool nitrogen out of the equation will improve water quality, home values, and the prospects for a return of oystering, which would future clean the water and bring economic prosperity to The South Shore.
