Help stop an ugly and inappropriate development (see design in update) from replacing this stately home of architectural significance from the 1880s. It is set to be replaced by more box like apartments in a street already over supplied with flats.

Planning authorities have not allowed the size and bulk of this proposed structure to be built in this vicinity since the 1970s for good reason. Traffic congestion , limited parking and pedestrian safety is already an issue, and likely to be worse with any development of this site other than a single dwelling or dual occupancy with off street parking.

The Stonnington Council have rejected the developer's plans and this matter is going to VCAT.
