Animal abuse should not be the answer to a profitable corporation

Animal abuse should not be the answer to a profitable corporation

The Issue

Animals across the world, such as the rabbit in the above video, are being put into harsh and unfair situations solely because of what their body has to offer. Large distributors such as Angora Fur continuously abuse and mistreat these precious animals to keep up with the high demand for soft fur. But would this fur be in such high demand if each consumer knew how their product was being put together? I think not. These rabbits in particular suffer for months at a time. Unethical fur distributors will obtain rabbits with optimal fur and continuously rip their fur from their skin and use it as product. As sad as that it is, it's even worse when you realize that it's reoccurring. These animals are contained in poor living conditions until their fur is regrown and ready to be aggressively torn out time after time.

It disgusts me that any individual could even think of torturing an animal, let alone putting them through endless amounts of extreme pain just for a profit. Obviously these companies have zero remorse, because their uneducated consumers pay them a pretty penny for their service. Stop rewarding these companies for this dishonourable behaviour and giving them an excuse to harm the innocent creatures. You can make a difference and the first step is to stop buying these fur products, ESPECIALLY if the product is made using Angora Fur.

It's simple, our fellow mammal friends are being mistreated to suit the wants of us humans. These animals have no say and are completely defenceless. My main question goes along the lines of the old saying, "If you don't want it to happen to you, than don't do it to others." How would you like it if your were contained in a cage for months, if not years, only to get your hair ripped out every time it grows back? These animals are suffering for NO good reason. Please watch the video and sign the petition if you feel this abuse needs to stop, and corporations producing Angora fur products should be halted until this situation is put under control.
