The Issue
Hello everyone,
My good friend, Daniela Pizano, was detained by ICE on Monday January 22, 2018 on her way out of court in Denver , CO. There were ICE agents in civilian clothes walking in front of her, they soon turned around and asked if her name was Daniela... She said ''yes". As they were arresting her she asked who they were and to see their badges, they showed them to her. She was arrested and has been at the Aurora Detention Center for nearly 2 weeks. She is a mother to 2 U.S. citizen girls who deserves to stay here. This is the only place that Daniela and her 6 month and 3 year old daughters know as home. Daniela is very committed to her work, community and family. She is caring, wonderful mother and a loving friend. She is working on finishing up her Bachelors Degree at MSU Denver to be able to provide a better future for her two wonderful girls. She is a leader and advocate for our community. Her confidence and courage make us see life different. We are demanding that she be released immediately and reunited with her family.
Please share and sign.
Thanks,
Steph
