Step Up for Aspin: Protect and not Neglect every Aspin!
The Issue
Asong Pinoy or also referred as Aspin are evidently affected by the unfairly treatment from society. Before long they were called Aspin, people often refer to them as "Askal" or "Asong Kalye" (Street Dogs); a clear discrimination or boundary between full-breaded dogs.
Fortunately, different associations focus on the positive impact and shifting this kind of discrimination into empowerment to us Filipinos to love our local dogs. One particular association that is leading this way is the Philippine Animal Welfare Society, stepping up for a positive change in society which regards the animals.
Through signing petitions with such advocacy about animal welfare, especially for the Aspins or the Philippine Local Dogs, a positive social change will be observed in the near future. Now is the time for a positive change. Start by signing petitions that will benefit the one that is in need. For those who are voiceless, neglected, and unprotected!
