Hi, Supporters,   LAST PROTEST: Thanks to everyone who made it such a great turn out on Monday, we certainly outnumbered the Councillors, staff, supporters, and even the police, they requested to protect themselves! What was supposed to be a Council and LCC event wasdominated by our supporters and we madetheir 'celebration' into our 'Stop Closing Our Roads' protest. If you haven't seen the photos, see our facebook page; facebook/E17Streets4All.   Later on Monday evening at a two day Cycling event being staged at Walthamstow Assembly Hall, Clyde Loakes was awarded, by the cycling community, 'Cycling Champion Of The Year' for his mini Holland road closure scheme. (as expected) NEXT PROTEST: This Saturday 19th, we will be at the Village Festival, asthe 'mini Holland team' always have stands at these events along with other groups.  We will meet around 1pm at 67 Orford Rd and will be giving out leaflets and 'STOP CLOSING OUR ROADS' yellow balloons.  If you have some time to help give out leaflets / balloons, or if you arearound the Festival on Saturday, come and see us, and look out for the yellow balloons! NEXT MEETING: This Tuesday 22nd at 7pmwe will be having a meeting open to our supporters opposed to the mini Holland road closure scheme, taking place in the National Spiritualist Church in Vestry Rd (opposite the Museum) We hope that you will come along and that this will be the start of more of these bigger meetings.  If we are to take this further we desperately need to grow the campaign and we do need everyone's help.  You can bring friends and neighbours if they want to join our campaign. It would be helpful if you could emailE17Streets4All@gmail.comif you are able to attend. We also need people to let the Council know that we residents and businesses are not happy with this scheme.  We get emails everyday complaining about this scheme and these complaints should also be sent to the Council.  They will then know how we residents and businesses feel about their road closure scheme, and it's also interesting to read their replies.   One reply from someone in the mini Holland team in August actually said that they hadn't had any previous complaints! Here are people to email, send to Clyde Loakes and copy to all of the others, the more people involved the better. Send emails to Cllr Clyde Loakes (deputy leader and in charge of mini holland)  Copy to Leader of Council Cllr Chris Robbins, MP Stella Creasy as well as your local Councillors, the new Mayor; Cllr Saima Mahmud, mini Holland team and the Local newspaper Zoie Obrien and Barnaby Davis,  Cllr.Clyde.Loakes@walthamforest.gov.uk; Cllr.Chris.Robbins@walthamforest.gov.uk;stella@workingforwalthamstow.org.uk;  Cllr.Clare.Coghill@walthamforest.gov.uk;Cllr.Ahsan.Khan@walthamforest.gov.uk; Cllr.Angie.Bean@walthamforest.gov.uk;Cllr.Khevyn.Limbajee@walthamforest.gov.uk;Cllr.Liaquat.Ali@walthamforest.gov.uk;Cllr.Mark.Rusling@walthamforest.gov.uk;Cllr.Saima.Mahmud@walthamforest.gov.uk;Cllr.Sharon.Waldron@walthamforest.gov.uk;cllr.asim.mahmood@walthamforest.gov.uk;Cllr.Johar.Khan@walthamforest.gov.uk;cllr.raja.anwar@walthamforest.gov.uk;cllr.richard.sweden@walthamforest.gov.uk;cllr.peter.barnett@walthamforest.gov.uk;Chris.Harrison@walthamforest.gov.uk;Christian.Muncey@walthamforest.gov.uk;Louise.Cullen@walthamforest.gov.uk;miniholland@walthamforest.gov.uk;zoie.obrien@london.newsquest.co.uk;barnaby.davis@london.newsquest.co.uk;
