Hello,
small but important update: the game is no longer available on the store. Hooray!
However, the forums and discussions remain online, limited to people who bought the game. The game was taken down by its own author, not by Valve. It's a shame Steam never said a word or took any action. I personnally remain reluctant to buy games on this platform, because we know they will keep allowing games like this one. Also it seems that the game circulates on other spaces like torrent files...
The battle isn't over.
Valve has yet to make any public statement, ban the author from its platform, or commit to a clearer moderation policy. That's exactly why the petition still matters! If your friends haven't signed yet, now is the time. Not to remove a game that's already gone, but to demand accountability from a billion-dollar company that chose silence over action. And if it's not for this game, it will be for the next problematic one.
