Protest the Bear Hunt Join Friends of Animals, Bear Education And Resource, and Animal Protection League of New Jersey on December 4, 2014 to protest the bear hunt. Take a day off from work to show you care.  The following week, thousands of bear hunters will be taking off work to kill bears. Please take a day, or part of the day, to show legislators how important this issue is to you. WHEN: December 4, 2014 TIME: 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. WHERE: State House, 125 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey,  08608   NOTES: Please arrive as close to 10 A.M. as possible. Light refreshments (donuts & coffee) will be served courtesy of Friends of Animals. Anyone coming from the Bound Brook area, should contact info@savenjbears.com to carpool. Our BEAR Program has been working all year to educate the public, collect petitions, staff booths at street fairs, lobby for Bear Smart legislation, take ads, put up billboards, meet with legislators, and network nationally for bears.
