Rhode Island needs their own electrified intrastate commuter rail-rapid transit line.

I would like to see the State of Rhode Island, including the Rhode Island Department of Transportation, Rhode Island Public Transit Authority & Providence & Worcester Railroad to develop an electrified intrastate commuter rail-rapid transit line similar to Denver's Regional Transportation District's commuter rail line called the "Rhode Island Railway Trans-State (Woonsocket-Westerly) & Trans-Metro (Woonsocket-Wickford Junction & Woonsocket-Quonset Point) Commuter Rail Rapid Transit.
The rail service would provide cross state rail service in Rhode Island without having to do a transfer RIPTA Buses in Providence, Rhode Island to places like TF Green Airport, University of Rhode Island Rhode Island's Beaches or the Block Island Ferry.
With a partnership between the Rhode Island Department of Transportation, Rhode Island Rhode Island Public Transit Authority & the Providence & Worcester Railroad as their operated would provide the first and only intrastate commuter rail-rapid transit line to benefit all of Rhode Island & its' residence & visitors.
