Nowhere Near 100% in the Governor's Budget Proposal

It is utterly disappointing that Governor Baker has decided to level-fund regional school district transportation reimbursement for FY19--- meaning NO increase from last year. We don't know percentage yet, but it will remain NOWHERE near 100%. The fight is far from over. The House creates their budget next based on the Governor's recommendations and then the Senate has their say. This means that we still have a chance of getting the state to listen. It's time to write to your own state legislators and let them know that your own school district and town need this money. Find them here: https://malegislature.gov/Search/FindMyLegislator. Also, it is important to let the House Ways and Means Committee know that we expect them to raise this number to 100% reimbursement. Jeffrey Sanchez is the chair of this committee.
