Dear Allies:

We are writing to share that Tiffany's habeas hearing has been postponed due to legal issues that arose that thankfully her brilliant attorney, Susan P. Coppedge, was able identify. We anticipate her new hearing to be held on December 3rd.

Tiffany was truly disappointed. However, she is still in good spirits and you are a big part of her joy. We wanted to share with you a photo of Tiffany with our team last March as we embarked on our survivor justice campaign and created our short film, Lack of Love, about Tiffany's life.

"I'm so disappointed that the hearing is put off until December, but it's alright. I know it's not our fault. I am still so happy to have such supportive people and family on my team that is willing to fight to the end for me it feels amazing," shares Tiffany in an email from jail.

It's really hard (trust us, lots of frustrated tears this weekend!) when you feel so close and something out of your control happens. Telling Tiffany hurt. We are tired of Tiffany having to deal with daily stresses of jail. Did you know, for example, sometimes we wait days to talk to Tiffany and then the jail system just doesn't work? She's just sitting in there alone wondering where we are. She also has to pay for every email and phone call. So, part of our survivor funds go toward supporting her financially so she can stay in touch with those who love her.  This is freedom so long overdue but we are getting closer!
