Hi Friends and Allies:
Today, 4/29, we are hosting a facebook live panel discussing policy challenges and possible solutions to stop the unjust incarceration of human trafficking survivors, in particular children. We will focus on Tiffany's case and that of Jessica and Jordan Hampton, two teen siblings in Bell County, Texas facing the possible death penalty as a result of their trafficking.
Panelists include:
1. Susan Coppedge, Senior Counsel Krevolin & Horst, LLC & former Ambassador at Large for the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons at the U.S. Department of State
2. Ashley Lowe, Survivor Leader and Advocacy Lab Associate, Karana Rising
3. John Richmond, former Ambassador at Large for the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons at the U.S. Department of State
