For the last two years, those advocating for justice for Tamla Horsford have directly pointed fingers at Sheriff Ron Freeman and the Forsyth County sheriff's office due to their blatant incompetence during their investigation. There have been many speculations that one or more parties who had direct personal connections to the sheriff and other active Forsyth County deputies influenced the investigation in their favor. 

While this has been speculation at best, today, we are more inclined to believe this to be the truth.

In the Tamla Horsford case, Michael Christian was abruptly removed in the middle of the investigation and demoted to patrol. Only to be promoted a couple of months later.

In October of 2020, this petitioner's organizer was contacted by a young woman who believed that she had information involving the Horsford’s case mishandling. This information was provided to me, to the sheriff directly, and to local news media. 

After an almost three-month investigation into Michael Christian,  sheriff Ron Freeman attempted to silence Michael Christian's allegations in a poorly drafted internal affairs report. They confiscated and destroyed any evidence about their investigation concerning Michael Christian. 

This information further proves our stance of direct and intentional interference in Tamla's case and the sheriff's piss poor attempt to cover this up. 

As of October 2020, Michael Christian was allowed to voluntarily resign as a corporal at the Forsyth County sheriff's office, amidst numerous allegations that he is a sexual predator, preying upon multiple women who have been victims of crimes. 

The internal affair's unit interviewed close to 40 women who brought similar allegations against Michael Christian. These women were given sensitive case information about multiple active cases, including Tamla Horsford's case.

Michael Christian made multiple disparaging comments about Mrs. Horsford and other black victims of crimes. 

The allegations levied against Michael Christian further proves that the gross allegations of him having an inappropriate relationship with at least one of the persons of interest is true.
