Solar Friendly Legislation in CT

The Issue

The proposed changes to CT's solar net metering laws will dramatically hurt the CT solar industry. Not only will this result in loss of jobs on a historic level but will also lead to less solar installations and thus more fossil fuels being used to generate electricity.

CT MUST continue net metering as is and also extend the Renewable Energy Credit (ZREC) program for at least another year, if not 2. Without net-metering and ZRECs, the solar industry will fail and cause hardships in many places.
