Grave concerns are held regarding the proposed new public holiday for Victoria, businesses are expressing dismay at the added economic burden. 

This is a very serious situation in times where businesses are faced with increasing costs and constant challenges, the productivity losses and raw economic cost business will incur as a result of an additional public holiday is damaging to the livelihood and viability of all business and therefore the employment opportunities and job security for our communities.
