That is why the age of the Internet is the tool that we never had before when evil people used to 'keep up appearances' and the smaller, less powerful accusers could never have their day in court. Lawrence King was convicted of being part of an savings and loan scandal, but not the other side of his business that involved procuring children and teens for elite parties to curry favor, and himself a sadistic abuser. Sadly, the investigation into the Franklin child sex scandal was sabotaged and credible witnesses scared to come forward despite massive social workers dossier on the Kings.
