A few years ago, back when the Discovery Family channel was called The Hub, along other TV shows that aired on the channel, like Transformers Prime and MLP: FIM, there was a show called Dan Vs.

For those who never watched or heard of the show, Dan Vs. was a show made by Starz Media about a character named Dan, a man with a serious anger problem.  Each episode focused on Dan, with the help of his unwilling friend Chris, trying to get revenge on the thing that made Dan suffer whether its a person, like a barber, a place, like Canada, or an abstract thought, like technology in goofy manners.

The show, though it aired alongside kid friendly shows was a bit more mature then the others as from time to time the episodes would air various mature themes in the episodes like death, committing felonies, and innuendos, which some people liked as it differed from the other shows, it was kind of like what Adventure Time and Steven Universe was doing at the time, but to a more extreme. Surprisingly some of the stuff shown was cleaner then the stuff seen in the deleted scenes.

The show also had an interesting cast, though small as it was. First there’s Dan, the main “protagonist” who’s the physical manifestation of the anger we all have from time to time. Next is Chris, Dan’s best and only friend, who is the opposite of Dan. Though he is always against Dan’s schemes always helps him. Along with them is Elise, Chris’s wife, who unknown to the others is a secret agent to the government, specializing in nearly everything. She hates Dan but usually ends up getting involved in his schemes either willingly, trying to stop him, or incidentally while doing a mission for her employers. Then there is Mr. Mumbles, a female cat that Dan loves and is the only good thing in his life. There were others but they were either minor characters or just 1D characters like Elise’s parents, the stereotypical “we hate our son in law and have higher hopes to our child” and a hippie who always gets caught in the middle of Dan’s revenge, a girl Dan likes named Hortence, and a imposter who twice messed with Dan.

The show ran for 3 seasons, and was rumored to get a 4th season as well as be moved to Cartoon Network, but it eventually ended in 2013 for some unexplained reason, heck not even the guy who voiced Dan knows why, though I bet it was either caused the series was outshined by the more popular shows on the channel and/or probably due to complaints on the mature content the show aired from time to time.  However even though it’s been years, I still think the show should come back on the air in one way or another, which I why I made this petition. 

This petition focuses on asking the people at Starz, as well as Discovery Family to either bring the show back on the air or sell the rights to another show where they will air it, like Cartoon Network (or maybe Adult Swim if they decide to make it more mature then it is), or an online website that airs TV shows like Netflix or Hulu.
