This morning I rise with gratitude in my heart for those who seen and felt my heart regarding this issue. Yet, in the midst of my gratitude, remains the heaviness, pain and anger of the state and treatment of incarcerated persons in our state prisons. The warehousing of human beings affects all of us, whether we acknowledge it or not. 

We MUST NOT continue to sit and shake our heads, seemingly powerless, for WE ARE NOT POWERLESS.
