We wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting this campaign. It has been a two-year journey for us. Once we discovered, through a science project, the amount of waste produced by single-use cups, our habits, and the choices made by big corporations, we knew we had to act. It has been so inspiring for us to see how many people care about this issue. Over 106,000 of you have signed. That is so many people!! We really believe that Starbucks can be a leader in reducing waste around the world through making a better cup. One that is tree-free and made from recycled materials. We also know that they can make a cup that can be recycled in the whole wide world. We also want them to encourage people to bring their own reusable cups or offer their own in-house cups, all the time. These small steps can save so much waste. They could set the example for all the other big chains contributing to the waste accumulating in landfills and in the ocean. You can help us reach even more people by sharing the petition!
