For the last two years, COK has attended Starbucks’ annual shareholder meeting to urge it to catch up with the buzz and brew up vegan food items for its millions of customers to enjoy with their dairy-free coffee. This year, we were told that we’ll “continue to see work come from [Starbucks] in that area.”

Outside the US, Starbucks has been making good on that pledge: customers at Starbucks’ UK outlets are enjoying a variety of vegan sandwiches, breakfast items, and even mac and cheese. Starbucks Canada recently debuted vegan yogurt, while Starbucks Chile just unveiled a vegan wrap nationwide after working with Vegetarianos Hoy.

Last week, Starbucks US poured out a veganizable Irish cream cold brew -- but we’re still waiting on a robust vegan food menu to enjoy with it!
