With your help, in 2018 Compassion Over Killing’s buzzworthy campaign with Jane Velez-Mitchell prompted an announcement from Starbucks that vegan food was on the way--and the chain’s first nationwide vegan cookie! Help us make sure the coffee giant keeps its promise in 2019 through a generous donation to our life-saving work for animals!

This past spring, Starbucks told COK at its annual shareholder meeting that a US-wide vegan food line was on the horizon this year. And after dishing out a vegan cupcake in Miami, tasty breakfast treats, and plant-powered protein bowls in select cities, the chain finally brewed up a vegan option on menus nationwide: a macadamia oat cookie.

But now Starbucks has told us the cookie’s being phased out--and there’s still no sign of a more tempting cookie variety or a robust vegan menu in the US (even as Starbucks UK continues to roll out plant-based sandwiches).

Right now, billions of chickens, cows, pigs, and other animals are languishing on dark, filthy factory farms--often without room to turn around or stretch their limbs--for the meat, egg, and dairy industries. But once Starbucks pours out vegan food on its menu, it will make compassionate cuisine more accessible to millions of people nationwide!

In 2019, we need to make sure the chain hears the buzz loud and clear: that the demand for delicious vegan food is soaring!

Help us keep the pressure on Starbucks and other chains in 2019 to put healthier, more sustainable, and kinder vegan meals on their menus. Click here TODAY to make a quick, secure donation to our menu-changing, life-saving work for animals!

Thank you for your compassion, and happy holidays!
