Andorians were one of the four founding members of Star Trek's United Federation of Planets. Yet we almost never see them in Star Fleet, and when we do, they almost never have speaking lines. In short, they've been screwed up the Jeffries Tube. Yet, Shran was one of the best things about ENT, and his character shows that adding an Andorian to the regular crew would make for an interesting angle, mingling Andorian culture and philosophy with that of humans.
