People will have to buy new TV and buy HD connections to watch football. Not everybody is financially capable of having the luxury of HD connections or buying new television sets. People who stay in hostels or in a different city as PG cannot afford to have HD connections or buy a new HD-compatible television sets. Football viewership is growing day by day in India. This move will lead to an increase in illegal streaming as people will resort to any methods to watch their fav. team play. I really hope Star Sports reconsider this decision. If multiple fan clubs co-ordinate, we can put pressure on them to take back this decision.
