Every year the Stanislaus County, California Animal Services Agency's Animal Shelter kills thousands of dogs and cats.  Animals surrendered to this shelter can have as few as four days to live.  The killing of these animals is unnecessary, and if the Animal shelter would only spend their time constructively trying to find homes for these animals in the community by having adoption events, promoting the availability of these animals. etc. the lives of these valuable animals could be saved.  Many of the animals in this shelter are not even made available to the public.  This shelter is too hasty, labeling animals "not social enough for adoption."  Make the Stanislaus County, California Animal Services Agency's Animal Shelter stand up, take responsibility for their actions, and stop the unnecessary killing of these animals.  Please sign my petition today, so that this unnecessary, wholesale killing can be stopped!  Thank you.
