On behalf of the entire Ceresav team, thank you change.org family for signing our petition to fight acid violence in Uganda. We never imagined it would get so many signatures and we are thrilled by the response! CERESAV is really encouraged by the international journalists picking interest in our work as a result of your response to the petition. However, the fight is still not over. We have the signatures, now all we need is action. That’s why we are asking you all to use the hashtag #callonmuseveni to call on President Museveni of Uganda to take action by signing the Toxic Chemicals Bill into law. This will help put international pressure on Museveni while our Ugandan team plans for a press conference to bring national attention to the petition.
