Animals have once again been let down by our corrupt government. GREED ZOMBIES - farmers who feel wronged by the 2011 decision to ban Live Exports have won in court which has now opened the flood gates for other farmers to sue for damages too.
Those farmers COULD and still CAN make money by frozen export, it is THEIR choice to send these animals into hell, the animals have no choice!
THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS AND THEY DON’T CARE THAT THE MAJORITY OF AUSTRALIANS WANT LIVE EXPORTS TO END!
I assume everyone knows that I am fighting to end Live Animal Exports but I learnt recently that I have acquaintances who don’t know.
I was chatting to someone I’ve known for a while about how hard it is to organise a protest during Covid, he questioned me about the protest and I told him it was to end Live Animal Exports.
He knew LE happened but had never really thought about it. I told him about the ship fires, death numbers and other facts, I also told him what happens when they arrive in the Middle East/Asia.....he was shocked, almost speechless, he asked the million $ question “why is this allowed to continue?”
I explained those reasons too....CORRUPTION. IGNORANCE. FARMERS oh and CORRUPTION!!!!!
Again I learnt never assume it makes an ASS out of U and ME, so PLEASE try to remember to tell everyone you meet about Live Animal Exports
With education comes information with information comes choices and with choices comes change....xx
On a somewhat better note, it looks as though once Covid is sorted I can do an Awareness Walk/Protest through Melbourne CBD to Docklands without indemnity insurance. We can set up at Docklands and speak to people but I don’t think we are allowed to hand out flyers, stickers etc. I am still talking to various departments of Police, Council and events etc in Melbourne but it’s looking promising...XX
We Will Never Give Up On These Animals. SYDNEY, we may get to do another PADS in December. It is disgusting that these animals still ship during the pandemic.....
