As most of you will know, 50,000 sheep left Australia for the Middle East last week onboard was 1 VET. We know these voyages are fraught with unavoidable problems, heat stress, lambs born only to be trampled, lack of food, water and space, then they arrive in a world where there are No Animal Welfare Laws. SHAME ON THE CORRUPT BASTARDS WHO ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN! When is a ban not a ban? WHENEVER OUR GOVERNMENT STAND TO LOSE MONEY!
The Claytons Ban:
So I’m applying for the right to hold another PADS (Protest/Awareness Day), I’m looking at the 13th of September, this gives people time to get themselves organised to come along and hold a banner, hand out stickers and chant that Live Export is a death trade. Apart from that the pens have arrived, I was not going to sell these or the shopping bags I’ve made but I really need to sell these items so I can afford to buy more.
The new T shirts arrived however these are not fluoro Orange but more a burnt orange. If anyone wants to buy a Tee Shirt they are $36 that includes tracked postage. The pens and bags are $2 each and I’ll pop stickers in for free. I’m sorry I am charging for the pens, bags and Tees but due to problems at work I’m not currently work so to be able to continue to buy items to advertise LIve Export I have to sell them..
Once I get the go ahead for September, I’ll do up a poster to ask if anyone would be happy to put up in their suburb etc? I’m hoping to have something happening in Melbourne CBD and Possibly other major cities..
