Saturday (7th March) was the latest Protest/Awareness Day (PAD) we started with around 11 people, however these 11 people made quite a bit of noise marching from Martin Place to Town Hall. Along the march route we had many people give us a thumbs up, clap or cheer, others made sad gestures and let us know that they also believe Live Exports are disgusting, this created a much needed boost to the die hards who come rain, hail or shine....the regulars (Andrew, Edith and Michelle) xx.

Soon after arriving at Town hall our numbers grew to around 22 or so, we even had a Cattle Baron from Darwin speak on the microphone about the cruelty that Live Exports guarantees for these animals and how he feels no animal should leave Australian soil alive. He backed up the fact that frozen exports are worth far more to Australia than Live Exports.

We did manage to get a lot of flyers and sticker out into the public’s hands, many of the public were interested and made it known they stand with us on this brutal matter. A few new faces in the mix was a wonderful welcome but I really must thank the regulars who have been to every single PAD I’ve held.

The next PAD will be the 13th of June, I’m not too sure of what time yet as it was suggested we start around 2pm to catch more people. I personally find this a bit harder as I have a 3 hour drive after the PAD, but I will do whatever is be best to bring attention to Live Export. So if you think there is a possibility of you being there if it were held at a certain time, please comment so I can consider all options..xx

Sorry there are no photos from yesterday, I didn’t not even think of taking photos..
