It seems like it was yesterday when I wrote The Protest is just over a month away, and now here we are 11 or 10 days out (depending when you receive this update).

I’ve still had no luck with the petition being accepted, but I have not given up. I’m about to email Scott Ryan again (president of the senate) and the petitions officer again.

I received a reply from a New senator, but it was along the lines of “if I can speak at the Protest, I’ll do my best to get it tabled”. Firstly I didn’t have any spots left, but also I’m not allowing this platform to be used as a political push FOR ANY PARTY!

I do not and will not endorse ANY political party. Yes I’ve written some policies for one party, but that was because I believe it was important for this party to be aware that most Australians (and humans) are Against Live Exports.

There are still seats on the bus, if you decide you want to be on the bus I believe there are 16 seats available, I can still add people up until Sunday the 18th of August. They will still be $25 for the return trip.

ALSO you are likely to be filmed on the day. The lady who is making the documentary will be there and I believe channels, 7, 9 and 10 May be there for some of the time.

I cannot wait, I’m really looking forward to being among people who are passionate about Ending Live Export ASAP.
