Hello, well I received an email tonight saying they’d closed this petition. Panic set in as I had not had it printed yet, but it’s all good, it’s been reopened. 194,999 signatures. We might make the 200,000 by the Protest March. I have 3 different senators I’m considering to receive the petition, I’ve emailed the 3 of them, just waiting to see who would like to accept it.. It has to be a member of the senate, I thought a member of the house of representatives could accept it, but no. There are still seats left on the coaches, so if ANYONE is considering catching the bus, please let me know before the 20th of July, numbers and full payment are due by this date. The coach will leave from Central and is also picking up at Campbelltown Railway station, that may be easier for some people. There is also a Supporter from Newcastle looking to maybe car pool, if you’re interested, please let me know and I’ll arrange it. Another Supporter is offering a lift to 1-2 people from around the Kiama area. You will have to make your way to Kiama, again please contact me and I’ll organise it from there. It seems there is a lot of interest in the Protest March but I’m not confident of having a full oval, I’m hoping like mad we are spilling out into the Old Parliament House site, but......we’ll see ��❤️ Remember EVEN IF IT IS raining, the protest march WILL go ahead. Rain is not going to hurt us, those animals put up with far worse than rain, and if we turn up in the pouring rain, it makes us look even more determined. I’ve been asked “ why on earth did you pick August”. Its because I’d held the awareness day and had been thinking of a protest march, but these things don’t happen overnight. I’ve had to apply for 4 seperate permits and these take time, especially in Canberra. I also did not want to leave it too long after the whistleblowers explosive videos and facts, so August was enough time formpermits to be issued, both houses are in that day and it still gives me time to organise another Protest March for Sydney before Christmas.
