I’m looking to hold a protest march around State Circle Of Parliament House, Canberra. This will be in August, at this point in time I’m trying to work out if it will be Monday the 20th or Tuesday the 21st. I’ve been told many politicians do not attend Monday or turn up late, and skip out early on Thursday so they have an extra long weekend. If I get enough interest, I’m happy to subside a bus trip from Sydney-Canberra return. If you are interested, please go to my ‘Let’s Stop The Death Ships’ FB page and go to events. This way I can gauge how many are likely to attend. Canberra in August will be freezing, so keep in mind if you are happy to take part, you will need to rug up, gloves etc. We will end up on the lawns of Parliament House, we will be as loud as possible. I just need to find out what our rights are for this, I do not want anyone to be arrested. So there will be more info as soon as I work it all out. I’ve contacted Animals Australia to see if we can all act together -PEOPLE POWER, I’m waiting for a reply. As for the exports, nothing has changed. A shipment of sheep left yesterday (Tuesday 15/05) headed for the Middle East, they will arrive in the hottest time of the year over there. So our pathetic government is not interested at all in doing what’s right for these animals. PLEASE KEEP SHARING THIS PETITION.
