To anyone coming along on Saturday, this is NOT a protest. This is a day to inform those who have NO idea that Live Export even exists and those who have heard of Live Export but are unaware of the abuse, cruelty and torture involved. I’m still dumbfounded by the number of people who have NO idea about Live Export. Today I had a lady say Live Export, what is it??? This lady seemed quite educated and intelligent, yet had never heard of it. Once I explained the look on her face said it all. Actually I think she did not quite believe what I was saying. Anyway, my point is, it is extremely important that more people do become aware. But it is to be peaceful at all times. Respect is given to those who earn it. Sadly I have to say this, if it does become a protest, I will quietly pack up my stuff and leave. I would even consider giving this up all together and the only losers then are the animals. So please bring your best behaviour, and if you could wear a white or black top/shirt/T shirt that would be wonderful. Please watch the channel 7 news on Saturday evening because we may even make the news. So I hope to see you at Pitt Street Mall from 10:30 on Saturday 5th May...This Saturday
