August 29th Martin Place, Midday......BAN LIVE EXPORT RALLY Yesterday I spent the day researching job losses and closures within the Abattoir Industry and WOW!! I learnt quite a lot, not good either. In the next lot of letters there are facts and figures of what is happening within this industry, and also letters that YOU people have emailed me. I will wait until next week to email everyone this lot of letters. PLEASE do not give up on these animals. I received an email stating that the AAC (Australian Agriculture Super Fund) does invest in Live Export, as does Future Super and State Super. I will endeavour to learn of more super funds that invest in this disgusting trade and keep you informed. I cannot or will not give advice about any super funds, other than to inform people of their LE interest. If anyone finds out whether their fund does invest in LE, can you please email the information, so I can share it. I remember prior to the election hearing JOBS and GROWTH bandied about, yet our Abattoirs are going backward, all thanks to LE. I have been updating too often, so I have to hold back a bit. I have a new much bigger list of recipients also. I will email them out with the next issue of letters. THANKS for supporting this petition.
